For those seeking pottery items either for themselves or as gifts should stop by Blue Sky Pottery. If you look at the picture above, you are only going to see a very small representation of the products in their store. At the time of this review, there were over 275 pieces of pottery for the shopper to choose from.
What I like most about Blue Sky Pottery besides the large selection of products is how craftsmanship and creative imagination have been combined to produce some of the best looking pieces of pottery around. Although I’m unsure of the type of clay used in their creations, all the glazes used are food safe, and the pottery is sturdy enough for use in the oven, dishwasher and microwave.
Within the store, the shopper will find some of the most unique pieces of functional pottery to be found anywhere. A cup is not just a cup and a tea pot is more than just a tea pot at Blue Sky Pottery. Plates, bowls and almost everything in the store takes on lives of their own through these skilled hands.
If I had to describe the styles found in the store, I’d have to say they range from the fairly traditional and conservative to the almost mystical. Less I be remiss here I should also bring up that the shopper will also find some jewelry items and some other types of clay creations that add a nice touch of diversity to the store.
