I have nothing but profound respect to those who are able to create items with either large or small needles. Being what one might called “Needle Challenged”, I can’t help but admire those who are not. When I come across a talented crafter who is capable of actually being able to knit really well but also one that has an eye for fashion, style and color, I like to point our readers in that persons direction.

Today, I want to point our readers to LolaBear's Needleworkatorium . Linda, the store owner has a fantastic selection of items for the shopper to choose from. Even some holiday ornaments. Another nice thing the shopper will find at LolaBear’s is some great pricing which every shopper will appreciate.

As if the first two reasons mentioned weren’t sufficient motivation for a trip to LolaBear’s, Linda has some of the neatest looking creations you could think of. Having a very good eye for the use of colors and patterns in her creations, certainly has helped Linda come up with products that will be greatly appreciated by whoever receives any of her creations this holiday season.

I’ve been asked how I select a store to be reviewed. Believe me it isn’t easy. With all the great stores listed in the directory and increasing daily, it is getting even more difficult. There are a lot of things that guide my decision. Product quality, the apparent skill of the crafter, product pictures, product pricing, shipping charges, the general appearance of the store are just a few of the things I look for.

Today’s store review is of a store that not only more than meet the items I mentioned above but also has store name that really caught my attention. No No's Sew Hip Creations . Just how Noella, the stores’ owner came up with the name, I’m not sure but I have an idea. Anyway, Noella’s store isn’t a big store yet but I expect it will be once shoppers find out just what great products she has in it.

Really nice looking Handbags and Tote Bags are what the shopper will find in Noella’s store. With a good selection of colors and styles and the fact that Noella does custom work, her store is a nice place to start your shopping for these products.

One of the elements of Noella’s creations that stands out to me is the functionality of her creations. She creates products that would appeal to almost any shopper searching for her types of products. Another thing that caught my attention was the very reasonable pricing of her creations. I have yet to run across a shopper who doesn’t like buying a great product and buying it at a great price.

Stop by No No's Sew Hip Creations and see if one or more of her creations isn’t a perfect fit for that holiday gift your looking for. Better yet, buy one for a gift and one for yourself.

The picture above is of Ceramic Leaf Soap Dishes. To say the least very unique and I doubt you will see too many of these well made and distinctive items in any regular retail stores either. This is just one of the many unique and imaginative pieces found in a store called Happylake

Happylake is one of those stores that simply is difficult to describe because of all the absolutely great distinctive pieces of pottery in it. I like what they say in their store announcement, “Everything is created with fun and durability. The living is easy here in the lake country of northern Indiana. My inspiration comes from the bountiful wildlife and freshwater lakes!”. I’m glad that statement is there because it best describes the inspirational source behind all these great pieces much better than I could.

The use of natural complimentary colors appears to be a very deliberate act as every piece I could see was so well balanced in color and tone it just couldn’t be accidental. The very reasonable pricing must also be mentioned as the creations found in the store are a great value for any shopper.

Besides looking great in probably anyone’s home, another good reason to pick up a piece or two from Happylake is that almost any piece in the store would make a great holiday gift. Even if you have one of those hard to shop for gift recipients this holiday season it’s hard to imagine anyone not liking whatever you pick out here.

Does the picture above make you hungry? Well, I wouldn’t try eating it. It may look good enough to eat but it’s actually soap. It’s called Peanut butter cookie bundt cake SOAP. Jessica, its creator runs Patisserie Jolie and her store is full of tasty treats like the one seen above.

If you think soap is soap, you are in for a surprise when you visit Patisserie Jolie. Have you ever heard of Rum nut cake soap? Or how about Cherry Almondine or Strawberries and Champagne soap? These are just a few of the tempting soaps for shoppers to choose from in her store. You are going to have to visit her store to learn about all the other desert inspired soaps she has.

It is clear that Jessica has a great imagination and I am looking forward to what new desert scented soaps she dreams up. Since we never pre-notify those store owners when we are going to review their store, we always want it to be a surprise, I’ve not talked to Jessica to ask her how she formulates the scents. You can bet however that she probably spent a great deal of time and effort developing the formulas.

This tells me she takes great pride in her work and you can be pretty sure that what you buy will be something special. Unless you are on one of those diets like my doctor has me on – I can eat anything I don’t like types of diets – be sure to stop by and pick up several pieces of desert for yourself and for presents this holiday season.
